Early Help is about taking steps to stop little problems becoming big problems for children, young people and their families
The CIL provides a number of services which can help people to live more independently, there is a range of equipment on display that local people can drop in and try out such as stair lifts, chairs, beds, mobility, bathing and toileting aids.

Early Help is an early intervention/prevention service across Knowsley. Families can be a great source of strength and support but sometimes family life can be difficult due to issues such as: parenting skills; drug and alcohol use; poor school attendance; emotional ill-health; violence within relationships and the involvement of adults or children in crime or anti-social behaviour. Early Help can offer support with these issues for families with children between the ages of 0-18.

Part of Knowsley's Local Offer (KLO) Portage is a pre school home teaching service for children with additional needs. Staff work in partnership with the child, parents/carers and other professionals to support the child's development. Age range - 0-3 unless child is not accessing Early Years provision.

Eating Disorder Services

The Eating Disorder Service Knowsley and St Helens (EDS) is a specialist, secondary care, out-patient service that provides comprehensive assessment and treatment for young people and adults with eating disorders.

Eden School

Eden School in Macclesfield, Cheshire, is a bespoke school registered specifically for up to 8 pupils with LD/MLD/SEMH/SLCN and complex needs. Eden School has the added benefit of being located within the grounds of Eden House, our children’s home recently rated Outstanding in all areas.

Education Improvement Service

The Education Improvement Service delivers the Council’s statutory duties in relation to school improvement, attendance, admissions, virtual school for Children Looked After, and advice and guidance to schools in relation to safeguarding children.
