Early Help is an early intervention/prevention service across Knowsley. Families can be a great source of strength and support but sometimes family life can be difficult due to issues such as: parenting skills; drug and alcohol use; poor school attendance; emotional ill-health; violence within relationships and the involvement of adults or children in crime or anti-social behaviour. Early Help can offer support with these issues for families with children between the ages of 0-18.
The people involved in the early years of a child’s life will vary depending on where and when parents notice that something is not as expected in relation to their child. Parents should be given clear explanations about what is going to happen next and where to get further information and help.
