British Red Cross Liverpool: Refugee Support

The British Red Cross has a long tradition of providing practical and emotional support to vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. As a leading humanitarian organisation, we often need to respond quickly and effectively to crises.

How do we help people?

The British Red Cross in Merseyside supports asylum-seekers and refugees in a number of ways. We may be able to help with:

  • Emergency provisions for those facing severe destitution;
  • Move-on support for newly-recognised refugees;
  • Family Reunion Travel Assistance for people with Family Reunion visas for 3 or more passengers or those with serious medical needs.
