Butterflies is Listening Ear’s award winning specialist support programme for children and young people aged 4 to 15 years experiencing bereavement, divorce/separation, domestic abuse, suicide, murder or other family loss. The service helps with bereavement, dying, death, divorce, emotional problems, family breakdown, parental separation, and terminal illnesses.

Listening Ear also has a wide ranging service of support for adults with mild / moderate mental health issues.

Volunteering opportunities available

Age range: 

4 - 18

Opening days / times: 

Monday 1pm-8pm, Tuesday 9am-4pm, Wednesday 9am-6.30pm, Thursday 1pm-8pm, Friday – CLOSED TO CLIENTS

Referral procedure: 

Email completed referrals to cypreferrals@listening-ear.co.uk

Referrals can be made by Self, Guardian, Family, Parent, Teacher, GP, Educational Welfare Officer, School Learning Mentor, Nurse, Health Visitor, Youth Worker, Social Worker or any other professional.

Disabled access info: 

Full access for people using wheelchairs, disabled toilet on both floors.
