Listening Ear’s award winning specialist support programme called the Butterflies Project, targets children and young people aged 4 to 15 years experiencing bereavement, divorce/separation, domestic abuse, suicide, murder or other family loss. Helps with bereavement, dying, death, divorce, emotional problems, family breakdown, parental separation, and terminal illnesses.
Listening Ear also has a wide ranging service of support for adults with mild / moderate mental health issues.
Opening days / times:
Referrals can be made by Self, Guardian, Family, Parent, Teacher, GP, Educational Welfare Officer, School Learning Mentor, Nurse, Health Visitor, Youth Worker, Social Worker or any other professional.

This Butterflies Project covers Merseyside for children and young people aged 5-11yrs and the North West for young people age 11-16yrs who wish to access specialist activity based support.
The Listening Ear Service for adult counselling is currently funded for Knowsley residents presently, (subject to changes due to funding – so please enquire).
