Five years ago I came to change with worries about my daughter. The nurse in question who's name I still emember got angry with me and proceeded to walk to the door and opened it for me to leave. My crime was to raise concerns that she was getting bullied in school and that she had social and communication difficulties.I have seen a few psychologists since then who ask same thing. "Have you been in contact with CAMHS"?.One was disgusted how we were treated and said unfortunately it happens regularly.Unbeknown to me at the time of the visit my daughter was self harming.I would never ever go back.

North West Boroughs NHS Foundation Trust are extremely sorry to hear the experience you and your daughter had in your recent contact with Knowsley CAMHS Team. We contacted you on 22nd August and discussed the concerns you raised. We gave assurance that we would be looking into what had happened and speaking to staff involved. At that time you felt you did not wish to pursue a formal complaint and wished for no more contact from CAMHS. Once again can we express our sincere apologies for the experience yourself and your daughter have had with the CAMHS service in Knowsley. We thank you for bringing these issues to our attention as it is in learning from people’s experiences that we can continue to improve services

Disgraceful treatment from a staff member. I overheard them say something about myself to a social care worker that is completely untrue and inflammatory since hearing this I have been very upset and no longer want to use this service. Just disgusting. I would rate zero stars if I could. I will never use camhs again even though my daughter was referred by speech and language.
