ENGAGE Knowsley - Young Persons Substance Misuse Service

Free and confidential support service for young people aged between 10-18 years, who may have issues with drugs/alcohol.  We see young people on a purely outreach appointment basis.

• Training to frontline staff regarding substance misuse
• Home visits - Outreach Appointments

Universal: Level 1Children having their needs met through accessing universal services such as schools, health visiting, GP and so on. Plus - Level 2: Universal PlusTargeted response by single agency to support the additional needs.  Targeted services for children and families beginning to experience – or at risk of – difficulties, for example school counselling, parenting programmes, support for teenage parents and so on.

• Monthly safeguarding reviews completed by services designated safeguarding leads
