We are a family living with dementia. We care for my lovely dad and we are devastated at his demise. A wonderful clever charming independent man has become helpless and totally dependant on his family for all of his needs. Without the amazing support, advice, guidance from the brilliant team at The independent centre for living we would not still have my wonderful dad at home were he belongs with us. We are truly heart broken and we grieve every day for my dad and his loss of physical and mental capacity. He loved reading, stargazing, walking, playing with his beloved grand children, debating, making things in his shed, solving complex problems, chess, dominoes, all gone because of the dreadful dementia. Thank you for supporting our family with efficiency, expertise, kindness and compassion on our gruelling dementia journey. God bless you all
