Hi, I wondered if you could provide more information regarding volunteers. I currently work part time plus volunteer for Marie Curie as a helper. ( we spend time visiting clients who have a terminal disease) we are not medically trained or carers but still provide a valuable service. Including respite for carers themselves. I live locally and may be able to help out on a Wednesday , when my current workload does down. Kind regards J*****

Hi. I'm afraid a carer, family member or friend needs to attend with your loved one who has dementia. We are not qualified carers at Memory Lane but we provide help, support and activities for those with dementia and their carers. Hope this helps. Jacky.

I have been attending Memory Lane in Halewood for several weeks with my mother in law. Threr is a range of activities available to all who attend. The staff are friendly, approachable and work very hard to make the day enjoyable for all. We look forward to every Wednesday and would highly recommend it for both clients and carers.
