MYA KNOW (Knowsley Integrated Youth Service Offer)

MYA KNOW is a broad offer for children and young people in Knowsley and covers:

-Detached Youth Work- Youth workers on the streets working with young people where they are and providing 45 hours per week of detached work.
-Intensive 1-1 Mentoring- Bespoke interventions and support programmes for children and young people aged 11- 18 (25 with Special Educational Needs and Disability )
-Participation and Youth Voice- MYA KNOW includes the official Knowsley Youth Cabinet, a voice platform empowering young people to have their voices heard and influence change.
- Health Offer (Think)- 2 health workers delivering a range of thematic health-based curriculum and interactive content, working alongside schools, clinics and a range of other professionals and community partners. 

These services are delivered borough wide from MYA's base at 'Our Place' on Longview Drive in Huyton which is a purpose-built youth facility. Our Place provides an holistic 'Youth Hub' approach to supporting children and young people, with multiple services accessible under one roof.

Watersports Centre- The Dam outdoor education centre on the Lord Derby's Estate is a fantastic facility in a beautiful setting where participants can experience a range of water and land based activities including canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, archery slack lining and much more.
