VISPA - Visually Impaired Sport and Physical Activities

 The VIP (Visually Impaired People) project is delivered by Daisy Inclusive UK and supports visually impaired (VI) people of all ages to take part in physical activity. 

We hope that by participating in regular physical activity people will be healthier, happier and have increased confidence. Research shows that visually impaired people are less active than their sighted peers.  

Our mission is therefore to make it as easy as possible for VI people to take part in activities of their choice by making sure that the right opportunities are provided at the right time, in the right environment. We aim to inspire those who want to participate to be able to do so and ensure that all visually impaired people in Merseyside have equal access to sporting opportunities.
