Tax-Free Childcare and 30 hours free childcare are new government schemes to help parents with the cost of childcare. Both schemes can be applied for through a single online application – the childcare service.

Our information is based on current education law and guidance and covers state funded education for children aged 5-16 years in England only. Our advice and information aims to give parents up to date knowledge of law and guidance as well as practical and tactical advice on how to work with their child's school to resolve any concerns. Our advice covers a wide range of educational issues.

This personalised study programme is for 19-24 year olds who have profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties or other conditions requiring high levels of support. It continues to build on previous curricula from school and focuses on individual and personal goals.

Activate Futures Knowsley

This personalised study programme is for 19-24 year olds with learning difficulties and disabilities and focuses on building the skills and experience needed to pursue an active life in the local community. Learners take part in volunteering, work experience and options such as travel training to further develop their independence and prepare them for the future.

Active Community Enterprise (A.C.E.)

A.C.E. (ACTIVE COMMUNITY ENTERPRISE) is an award-winning, ground-breaking, community-based support agency for adults with learning disabilities. We offer a fully-structured weekly programme of Training, Assisted Paid & Voluntary Work Placements, Social and Leisure activities and of course Fun.
The CIL provides a number of services which can help people to live more independently, there is a range of equipment on display that local people can drop in and try out such as stair lifts, chairs, beds, mobility, bathing and toileting aids.
