Early Help is an early intervention/prevention service across Knowsley, we are the first point of contact for families requiring support but if you feel that a child or young person is in immediate risk of harm please contact the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub on 0151 443 2600 Option 1 then Option 1 again, or notify the police.

Families can be a great source of strength and support but sometimes family life can be difficult due to issues such as: parenting skills; drug and alcohol use; poor school attendance; emotional ill-health; violence within relationships and the involvement of adults or children in crime or anti-social behaviour. Early Help can offer support with these issues for families with children between the ages of 0-18.

Once we have a families consent to offer support they will have access to a range of qualified staff with a range of experience in working in partnership with families. These staff may also include partners that the Council have commissioned to work with, as part of the Early Help Service. We create a pathway for you to access a wealth of other services who may become involved to help.

If you feel that members of your family would benefit from our support, you can call one of our Early Help Co-ordinators on the numbers above or email: eht@knowsley.gcsx.gov.uk. Otherwise, you may ask someone who already knows your family to do this; for example your health worker, school worker or GP etc.
