Accessibility Plan

Evelyn Community Primary School is a slightly larger than average Primary School for pupils aged 3 – 11 years and is situated near the centre of Prescot in the Borough of Knowsley. The school was built in 1973 to serve the children and parents of the surrounding area. We pride ourselves in having strong partnerships with parents and the school’s surrounding community as well as established links at an international level.

At Evelyn Community Primary School, we believe that everyone is of equal value and our school rule of, ‘Respect, Achieve, Partnership’ encapsulates our core values. We currently offer 52 places in our Nursery class and our admission number for our Reception class is 35.

We follow our own unique ARCS curriculum which extends children’s knowledge, develops their skills and improves their attitudes to learning. Our children receive a distinctive education and access a range of opportunities which are specific to this school. The curriculum enriches all aspects of each child’s development through creative, contextual experiences. These include: entrepreneurial work, opportunities to become a global citizen and further development as a lifelong learner. We also have a number of after-school clubs including: School Orchestra, Choir, Performing Arts and Drama, Football, Netball, Glo-Fit, Cross County and Judo.

Please contact the school if you would like to make an appointment to speak to the Headteacher.
