Family Support Child Looked After (CLA) Service

The family support Child Looked After service provides family time sessions for children and parents who are unable to live together.  The sessions can be while assessments are being carried out for court or in the longer term, for children to keep links with their bath families.

The service will also offer support to children and families who live at home on an order made by the courts.

The service works with Children's Social Care social workers.

Family time sessions can be undertaken in a centre, in the community and dependent on the situation, at home.  All families have individual strengths and needs and the service will endeavor to meet these.

We work with vulnerable children including those with Special Educational Needs and Disability , who would receive additional support if needed during the family time session.
