We can help ...

If you are Deaf or hard of hearing and live in the Knowsley Borough area we can provide equipment to support your daily living.

Our trained staff will make an appointment to visit you in your home to assess your needs.

You will be informed about the equipment available to help you overcome any difficulties you may be facing.

Following an assessment a range of equipment may be provided at no cost.

The service is available to Knowsley residents of all ages.

Drop-in sessions

If you would like more support or futher information duty sessions are available.  Staff will be available at the following drop-in venues:

  • Centre for Independent Living, Huyton, L36 6HY
  • Merseyside Society for Deaf People (MSDP), Queens Drive Retail Park, West Derby, L13 0DJ
  • Over 55's Club, Prescot Town Hall, 1 Warrington Road, Prescot, L34 5QX

Staff from the Centre for Independent Living and St Helens Deafness Resource Centre will be hosting the drop-in sessions.

You can contact Knowsley Deaf Services directly to ask someone to do this on your behalf.
