The nomination is for the Supported Internship Programme, which has been developed by the College in partnership with Knowsley Council and helps prepare interns for life at work through mentored full time placements both at the council and in the wider community.

So far 10 out of 11 interns have secured permanent and voluntary roles. Former intern Anthony Kildare now works as a Store Assistant in Stretton Way. Anthony has commended the programme saying;

“Getting a job has completely changed my life. The Supported Internship Programme gave me a chance to learn new skills and improve my confidence.”
