Holy Family Catholic Primary School - Cronton

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) School Offer

Holy Family Catholic Primary School is located in the village of Cronton and has provision for children aged 3-11 years old. In our Nursery class we offer 26 places and in our Reception class, 30 places. Our school is usually oversubscribed.

Children can take up a place at the Nursery in the term following their third birthday and attend full time (30 hours with current code) or mornings or afternoons (15 hours). Our Nursery is open from 8.30-11.30am and 12.15-3.15pm.  Reception children attend the school in the September of the school year in which they reach their fifth birthday.

At Holy Family, we pride ourselves on providing a family atmosphere for staff, parents and pupils alike. Within our school we have high expectations and aim for children to ‘Aspire to Inspire’ by following our school values of respect, responsibility and resilience.

We currently have 226 pupils on roll and a wide breadth of experience in our teaching staff who are committed to delivering a creative and wide ranging curriculum for our children. We are a well-resourced and inclusive school and provide an excellent curriculum which values children’s varying skills, talents and individual needs. We provide a range of extra-curricular activities including but not limited to: choir, art, film and various sports clubs. We also take part in many competitive sporting activities within the local community and have recently achieved the Gold Mark Sports Award.

We believe in the important partnership between home and school and work with our parents to develop positive relationships to ensure children get the best out of their school experience. We have a number of events and workshops throughout the year to support families to feel part of our school community. We encourage parents and carers to take an active role in the education of their children and we offer parental workshops to support parent's and carer’s understanding of the curriculum and how best to support their children.

We are proud of our school community and every day we live out our school motto that we pray, play and learn together.
