Promotion of reading during Lockdown.

The Team and I would strongly recommend the following website to parents/carers.

www.worldstories.org.uk

This is an excellent website which has many English tales and new short stories that are available in different languages from around the world.

It is free to join and you become a member of the worldstories library.  You can even pick the required age range you want the books.

The student can see the book written in English (either using the side arrows or scrolling, depending on the book)  and listen to the translated version in their own language, but you need to have become a member to hear the book.
